Preparation:
Prepare marinade: In a large deep pan mix soy sauce,
wine, brown sugar, ginger, garlic and liquid smoke.
Prepare meat: Trim all excess fat from flank steak,
remove thin layer of fat from backside of meat using a fillet knife. Using a
meat tenderizer or back of carving knife to pound steak. Place steak into
marinade for 6 - 8 hours. Do not discard marinade.
Cook in Broiler or on Grill turning only once until each
side is seared. Meat should be cooked until medium rare to medium for best
flavor. |
